Campaign Details

Run by a UNCCD (UN Convention to Combat Desertification) accredited organization, Cauvery Calling is a first of its kind campaign to revive of the Cauvery river on which 84 million people depend. This initiative is not only a solution for those in Cauvery basin or in India.

Cauvery Calling is a "Model for the entire Tropical world." Over 4 billion people live in tropical regions and they are all facing the same problems - frequent drought & floods, erratic weather leading to failed crops, and desertification.

Cauvery Calling's success can be a game-changer for more than half the world's population and ensure food security in the coming years.
