Campaign Details

Cauvery Calling is a first of its kind campaign, setting the standard for how India’s rivers – the country’s lifelines – can be revitalized. It will initiate the revitalization of the Cauvery river and transform the lives of 84 million people. This is an economic model with an ecological impact!!!

Both the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu govts have supported and acknowledged the need of it and have agreed to make necessary allowances to agro-forestry. The PM also has endorsed & appreciated the movement.

Being responsible humans and beneficiaries of river Cauvery, we have to lead the way and support the movement in every possible way. Revitalizing Cauvery through agroforestry is likely to reduce flood/drought situations and multiply farmers' income.
