Tamil Nadu farmer Valluvan placed third in the World Soil Day 2024 "Farming Heroes – The Guardians of Soil Health" Contest organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations for his innovative practices in soil health management. Mentored by Save Soil, Valluvan's accomplishment showcases the potential of sustainable farming in addressing global challenges such as depleting soil yields and low nutritional value in crops.
