1,000Even though the schools are closed now, the children continue their learning through WhatsApp & Zoom classes. We have already provided books & workbooks to the students.
Despite tightening our budgets, the main operating costs like salary, books, notebooks, learning materials and school infra maintenance (buildings, equipment, etc) are almost the same. Minimum billing for electricity, phone and internet are also payable. Despite schools staying closed, these costs need to be met.
On the other hand, corporate sponsorships through CSR are almost non-existent this year. We are entirely dependent on individual donors to contribute for the scholarships of the students. This campaign is to seek your support for these deserving children.

Isha Vidhya rural schools have been started in villages (under the umbrella of Isha Education, established in 2005) to provide high-quality school education to underprivileged rural children who cannot otherwise access or afford it.
