To make quality education accessible & affordable to the rural poor children.
Isha Vidhya is dedicated to improving the quality of education in rural India. The initiative currently runs 9 rural schools educating over 9,000 students from LKG to Class 12. Many of these children are first-generation learners, and a large number depend on scholarships to continue their education.
Through this campaign, we aim to raise ₹1 crore to support scholarships for deserving students and build critical infrastructure in Isha Vidhya schools. These efforts help create a nurturing learning environment and ensure that children from underprivileged backgrounds receive the opportunities they deserve.
Every kilometre run in this marathon represents a step towards a child’s brighter future. Your support can help ensure that financial challenges do not stand in the way of education.
All donations will go directly to Isha Vidhya, and the run is a self-motivated effort to raise awareness and support for rural education.
Support a child’s education for one year:
• ₹43,000 – Full Education Support
• ₹25,900 – Scholarship Support
• General Donation – Any contribution towards student education and school infrastructure
Please note that US resident and Indian resident can avail tax benefit under 501(c)(3) and 80G respectively.
Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to ensuring that rural children have access to quality education and the opportunity to build a better future.
Isha Vidhya rural schools have been started in villages (under the umbrella of Isha Education, established in 2005) to provide high-quality school education to underprivileged rural children who cannot otherwise access or afford it.
