As people around the world mark Earth Day, Sadhguru an Indian spiritual leader and environmental campaigner has warned that humans could go extinct if significant action is not taken to combat climate change in the coming years. Sadhguru told Newsweek that the world is facing a future where floods, cyclones and droughts are common, and such events will stifle agricultural productivity and threaten food security.

Raising awareness of the dramatic loss of soil fertility is the goal of Save Soil, a movement funded by the United Nations and the World Food Program that supports governments around the world in implementing specific soil protection measures.

"Save the Soil" exhibition in the "Crystal" garden in Sofia

From 31.07.2023 to 15.08.2023 in the "Crystal" garden in Sofia, an exhibition dedicated to soil conservation will take place. The organizer of the exhibition is the "Save the Soil" movement in Bulgaria.

The two-week exhibition in the Crystal Garden presents photographs illustrating the growing problem of soil degradation worldwide, as well as quotes from Bulgarian experts dedicated to possible solutions.
