Cauvery Calling Inspires Hosur to Blossom into a Green City

The " Green Krishnagiri - Hosur 1 Crore Tree Plantation" initiative is indeed a significant environmental effort aimed at enhancing the green cover in the region and fostering community engagement in sustainability practices. The launch event on June 5, 2025 (Thursday), at St. Peter’s Medical College & Auditorium, Hosur underscores the commitment to creating a carbon-neutral industrial city, which is crucial in combating climate change and promoting ecological balance.
Goal 1) With renewed determination, Cauvery Calling sets a bold target for FY 2025–26 planting 10 lakh trees in collaboration with Farmers, Corporates and Local communities.
Goal 2) Thanks to the dedicated efforts in FY 2024–25, 3.77 lakh trees were successfully planted, laying a strong foundation for the journey ahead.
