Van Mahotsav Tree Planting 2025
Celebrated annually in the first week of July, Van Mahotsav is a festival of forests that honors trees, promotes ecological balance, and encourages community stewardship.

This year, 40,160 timber saplings were planted across 155 acres of agricultural land — transforming farms into thriving tree-based ecosystems.
High-value species from Cauvery Calling nurseries like teak, sandalwood, and mahogany will enrich soil and help secure farmer incomes.
To support farmers in making this shift, Cauvery Calling nurseries offer quality timber saplings at a subsidized rate of just ₹5 each.
The large-scale Save Soil on-ground projects are currently focused in Southern India, primarily in the states of Tamil Nadu & Karnataka.
Farmers interested in tree-based agriculture in the region can contact 80009 80009 (9 AM – 9 PM IST) for more information and support.
