“Dance inspired me.” - Aishwarya - Alumna, Isha Vidhya Coimbatore
Aishwarya began learning Bharatanatyam at a very young age and performed at her alma mater too. Although she was a school topper, it was her communication skills at the interview that helped her get admission at the renowned Rukmani Devi College of Fine Arts – Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai.
She is now in the final year and wants to perform globally in the future. She also hopes to set up her own dance school and teach her students about health and nutrition.
“I want to become a filmmaker.” - Vikram - Alumnus, Isha Vidhya Erode
Vikram looks to Kamal Hassan as an inspiration, and he is currently interning at SIGI Photography Studio, Chenna. He wants to gain recognition as a filmmaker.
The son of an ironsmith, Vikram completed his B.Sc. in Visual Communication from D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai after sailing through the entrance exam and interview.
He says he has adapted easily to the transition from studying to working thanks to Isha Vidhya and feels content to be financially independent and supporting his family now.
“I want to have my own fashion label.” - Snegha - Alumna, Isha Vidhya Salem
Before pursuing this dream, Snegha aspires to first work at prestigious fashion houses like Zara and H&M. She credits her teachers for encouraging her to communicate in English and for helping her to become self-confident and disciplined – skills which are helping her at college.
Snegha is pursuing a M.Sc. in Fashion Designing at J.D. Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru, and is already interning with a fashion designer as part of the curriculum.
“I want to do my masters in planning or landscape design.” - Sandana - Alumna, Isha Vidhya Coimbatore

Despite this, she scored well in the entrance exam – National Aptitude Test in Architecture – with the help of special coaching, and was accepted into the school with merit. She says learning to communicate at Isha Vidhya gave her a head start.
Her father is in the construction business, so she feels an affinity for the field. Sandana aspires to work at the Prestige Group, Bengaluru, and become a successful senior architect.

Prashanth completed B.Sc. Animation from VFX - Vismayasmax Animation Academy, Trivandrum, and got in purely on the basis of his drawing skills.
At school, Prashanth won numerous prizes at district, state, and national art competitions, and says his respect and love towards his donor inspired him to do well academically. He’s also thankful for the values and knowledge he acquired at Isha Vidhya.
He now designs web and mobile applications at Vish Gyana Technology Solutions, Chennai, and dreams of working in Paris before setting up his company.
“Thanks to Isha Vidhya, I discovered my creative abilities.” - Sadhana - Alumna, Isha Vidhya Coimbatore
