Cognizant Employees Make a Difference

On November 1, 2014, one hundred and twenty three employees of Cognizant Technology Solutions participated to make classroom learning aids for the 40 Government schools adopted by Isha Vidhya. Here's a slideshow of the day's events.
On November 1, 2014, one hundred and twenty three employees of Cognizant Technology Solutions (Tambaram, Chennai unit) participated to make classroom learning aids for the 40 Government schools adopted by Isha Vidhya.
The program started with an introduction to Isha Vidhya, followed by a Q&A session with two Isha Vidhya students (Cuddalore) about their school. Later on the use of learning aids and the specific materials being made in this event was explained to the Cognizant employees.
The turnout of volunteers from Cognizant was excellent and the enthusiasm and diligence shown by them was heartening. The entire event including the material for making the learning aids was sponsored by Cognizant as a part of their employee volunteering initiative.
