Considered India's premier agricultural trade fair, the Codissia Agri Expo brings together farmers, industry leaders, and agricultural enthusiasts for five action-packed days. It serves as a vital platform for showcasing the latest advancements in agriculture, fostering knowledge exchange, and promoting sustainable practices.
This year, Cauvery Calling had the privilege of being a part of this significant event, connecting with a vast audience committed to the future of agriculture. Over a span of five days, the expo saw a phenomenal response, with over 40,000 people visiting the stall and actively engaging with the Cauvery Calling movement.
This overwhelming enthusiasm translated into real action. A remarkable 2612 farmers and individuals stepped forward to adopt a greener future, taking home a total of 19,500+ saplings. These adopted saplings represent a vital step towards reviving the Cauvery and restoring ecological balance in the region.
The spirit of collaboration was truly heartening. As many as 450 farmers extended a warm invitation to Cauvery Calling representatives for on-farm consultations and 130 farmers purchased Cauvery Calling technical handbook on tree-based agriculture.
One family shared, “We are glad and happy we came for this exhibition. We participated like a festival. We got lot of saplings in a very subsidized price and very happy about it.
