Just shy of a decade, Velliangiri Uzhavan is celebrating yet another milestone in its fledgling journey – a turnover of Rs. 17.7 crore for financial year 2021-22, a 26% increase in its year-on-year turnover and a 165% increase in earnings per share for the year. But there is much more to this farmer producer organization than its astronomical growth.

Isha’s Cauvery Calling movement today conducted a tree-based agriculture seminar titled 'Profiting in Crores through Sandalwood Cultivation for the Commonman' today in Palladam, Tirupur on October 15. Approximately 3,000 farmers from across Tamil Nadu participated in this seminar, which was hosted on a 50-acre sandalwood farm belonging to pioneering farmer Duraisamy in Muthandipalayam village, Palladam, Tiruppur district.

On World Environment Day 2026, Cauvery Calling kickstarted its plantation season across Tamil Nadu with 122 plantation drives, resulting in the plantation of 101,603 saplings across 317 acres of farmland.
