Grand Seminar on the cultivation of Aromatic Crops in the Plains

At a seminar organized by #CauveryCalling and the Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR) at Pudukkottai attended by over 1500 farmers, Tamil Nadu's Environment and Climate Change Minister, Meyyanathan Siva V, praised the Cauvery Calling Movement for enabling the planting of 10 million tree saplings last year.
The event highlighted the importance of tree-based agriculture in raising farmer incomes and saving the environment. Experts, scientists, and farmers from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka shared valuable insights for a sustainable agricultural future.

On World Environment Day 2026, Cauvery Calling kickstarted its plantation season across Tamil Nadu with 122 plantation drives, resulting in the plantation of 101,603 saplings across 317 acres of farmland.
