Walking the Talk for Cauvery Calling
Volunteer Stories

After raising funds to enable planting of over 350,000 trees, Raj (who is over 60 years old) and Shakrajit took their commitment to Cauvery Calling a step further by walking 150 km along River Cauvery for over seven days to raise awareness. When asked why, Raj simply said: “Words no longer felt enough, so I just walked. My walk is not complete until Cauvery runs perennially.”
Every single tree that is enabled is one step closer to making Raj and Shakrajit’s dream—and the dream of millions of farmers—a reality.
